      GRE represent Graduate Record Examination Test. The GRE General Test is similar to the SAT I which evaluates your mathematical and verbal abilities.  It also tests critical thinking as well as analytical skills. It is a 4 hours computer adaptive test. It is designed to measure your reasoning skills, rather than your knowledge of any specific subject matter. Subject matter testing is done with the GRE Subject Tests. These tests should be taken by students who have a bachelor’s degree (or very extensive training) in that subject. They cover eight different subject areas:


    • Biochemistry, cell and molecular biology
    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Computer science
    • Literature in English
    • Mathematics
    • Physics
    • Psychology
 


It is used as a determining factor for admission to graduate level degree programs in the field of social science and engineering.

:

1100 & above (depends upon the university)
