International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the simple and small way for the student who wants to go to abroad to get more education or wants to develop idea about their particular interest of studies where English language is first language to stay in touch. IELTS is managed and developed by British Council, the University of Cambridge and IDP. IELTS is known by Universities and the employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK and USA and also known by the immigration authorities and the governmental agencies.
Candidates who want to appear the IELTS Test must have simple knowledge about the Test. Straightforward; to make easy for the candidates who want to take classes of the Test IELTS should know the Testing Formats and section, Duration, Test Score and other some important factors of the Test.
Testing Formats
Having two different format of the Test, one Test is essential for the students or candidates to attain the classes. That is Academic Test which is mostly took for the admission process at the Universities in English Language speaking Countries next one is General Test, this test is specially for the completion of the secondary level or the work experience or training program but not to get degree.
For Academic Candidates: -
- Listening (approximately 30 minutes) 4 sections, around 40 questions
- Academic Reading ( 60 minutes) 3 sections, around 40 questions
- Academic Writing (60 minutes) 2 tasks
- Speaking (11-14 minutes)
For General candidates: -
- Listening (approximately 30 minutes) 4 sections, around 40 questions
- General Training Reading (60 minutes) 3 sections, around 40 questions
- General Writing (60 minutes) 2 tasks
